MKCA, USA Elects New Office Bearers for 2010-2011

Chicago, Nov 8: The Mangalorean Konkan Christian Association conducted its long awaited election for new Executive Committee and Board of Directors in its recently held Annual General Body meeting. The election was conducted by the Election Commissioner, Santhosh Veigas. Following members were elected for new Executive Committee, who will hold office, from upcoming year 2010 - 2011: President - Queenie Mendonca; Vice President - Eric Fernandes; Secretary - Francis Mascarenhas; Associate Secretary - Rita Saldanha and Treasurer - Stany D'Souza.

The new Board of Directors are: Mark Rodrigues, Lance Dias, James Saldanha, Mercy Concesso and Godwin Rego. It is reported that the current Executive Committee will take its oath of office during celebration of Nathal Fest - 2009.
