The Secret of Successful Association – Rajajinagar Konkani Catholic Welfare Association - RKCWA

Rajajinagar Konkani Catholic Welfare Association (RKCWA) covers the entire parish of Rajajinagar. The entire area is divided into 5 wards; each headed by a Gurkar. Every year during the month of May each Gurkar forms a rosary group of about 10 members from his ward. This group every evening at 7 pm goes to one member’s house to recite Rosary prayers. Members from neighboring houses also join for the community Rosary. Normally we have 20 -30 members for community Rosary at every member house. This year we have done 70 plus community Rosary in all the 5 wards put together. After the Rosary the host gives a tea party to the participants. May months community rosary in Konkani is the secret of binding together all Konkani Catholics in Rajajinagar.
