KCS Yeshwanthpur & KCA Bangalore Organize Lenten Retreat in Konkani
Bangalore, Mar 22: Konkani Catholic Sangh, Yeshwantpur, Bangalore and
Konkani Catholic Association, Mathikere, Bangalore jointly arranged a Retreat in
Konkani at Christ the King Church, Bangalore - 560055 on Sunday, 22nd March, 2009.
The Retreat was conducted by Fr. Richard D 'Souza, Fr. Maxim Pereira and Br.
Sunil Monis. All were from Carmalite Order from Sadbhavana. They preached about
family union & togetherness, Passion of Christ. Last Seven words before Death of
Christ and Summary of Retreat.
It started at 10 - 30 am to 01 -
00 pm. 2 - 00 pm to 3 - 00 pm. 3 - 00 pm to 4 - 00 pm adoration of the Blessed
Sacrament. 4 - 00 pm to 5 - 00 pm Mass in konkani. Confessions were held between
3 - 00 pm and 3 - 30 pm for the members. Vegetarian Lunch and Coffee / Tea was
provided to the members. About 160 members attended the Retreat.
