Christmas Dabazo by Three Associations

Bangalore, Dec 21: The Nathal Dabazo 2008, was held at Christ the King Church
School grounds on 21st December, 2008 by three organizations together: Konkani
Catholic Sangh-Yeshwantpur, Bangalore, Konkani Catholic Association-Mathikere,
Bangalore and Catholic Konkani Association-Dasarahalli, Bangalore.
The programme started with Holy
Mass concelebrated by Fr. Jerome D 'Souza and Fr. Praveen Pinto at 10 - 15 am.
Followed by Opening of programme by Mr. George Mascarenhas, President of Konkani
Catholic Sangh, Yeshwantpur, also the convener. Cultural activities like
Singing, Dancing, Carroll Singing competition, Housie, Auction of Chicken and
other games were held. The gathering of about 650 members along with children.
The Master of Ceremonies were Ms. Philomena Periera, Vice President, Konkani
Catholic Sangh, Yeshwantpur, and Mr. Joseph Sequiera. They did superbly best
entertaining the audience.
Food and Liquor was available on payment. Counters were laid for the purpose.
Besides selling of CD's. Fruit Salad, Ice Cream etc. The programme concluded by
Vote of Thanks by Mr. Anthony Gonsalves.
